Retired animations (or "rare" animations), much like retired clothing, they are animations that are no longer obtainable.

These animations were most likely removed due to being, gore, violent, inappropriate, or added for a specific holiday or for rare week. Cartoon Network used to own MSP in its older days, but a new company bought it and removed the more inappropriate animations.

*many animations were changed to less inapporiate for younger kids

History of retired animations

Some animations that were introduced in early days of MovieStarPlanet were removed from the Shop. These animations were believed to be removed due to them being inappropriate.
- For some, the original animation was replaced with a new one.
In late 2013, a large group of old animations were removed from the main catalog and then re-added shortly after. During the time they were removed, players could still buy them through the top and friends tabs. Only the main tabs didn't display them.
In August 2015, on many servers like UK, and USA, some retired animations were shown on the homepage when it was updated. The reason for them being there is unknown, though it's believed to have been a glitch due to the updates added at the time.
Many animations where re-added in 2020
animations "Stop its the Police" moderation edit on "stop its the VIP" in 2019 :(
