Save The Ocean Event (2020)
Events happen throughout the year and usually offer players tasks to complete in exchange for free items. Events are usually themed around a holiday or a season and offer free items that correspond to the theme. Many events are annual and come back each year with new tasks and new items.
Generally, events last three to four weeks. Events are structured so that each week, a new set of tasks open up to be completed by players. At the end of the event, all tasks are open for players to complete.
Events are free to participate in and do not require VIP.
Appearance[]
Events always introduce a user interface that allows player to click around to find tasks to complete inside the game. The tab for this UI is often found in the left-hand corner of the map.
Additionally, events will often change the look of the main game. The map will be retrofitted to reflect the theme of the current event, and will stay themed until the end of the event where it will be reverted back to normal.
Tasks[]
One of the main draws to events in MovieStarPlanet are the tasks that they offer. These quests usually direct players around MovieStarPlanet to remind them of the various features offered.

Quests reward fame and starcoins upon completion. Easier tasks give fewer starcoins (25-100 coins), while the more intensive tasks reward more starcoins (300-500 coins).
Common tasks in events include:
- Make an artbook
- Make a look of another user
- Pet 10 other players' pets
- Give another user an autograph
- Buy an item from the store
- Buy a new look from the Beauty Clinic
As long as the quest is unlocked, players can complete quests in any order that they would like. Additionally, players can skip quests by spending a single diamond. Tasks can only be completed once.
Rewards[]
Easter Event Egg
Events usually offer three to four rewards. After each row of quests is completed, users are rewarded with a new clothing item. Once all of the tasks have been completed, an event-related boonie is rewarded to the player.
The player can choose to claim the event items in any order as long as they have completed the row. Players can also choose not to redeem rewards.
